Radio Silence

I haven’t updated here in some time. Frankly, there hasn’t been much to say. Rinse and repeat…Groundhog Day. In fact, today is Groundhog Day, and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning. Six more weeks of winter, which is fine by us. I just hope it’s not some metaphor of six more weeks of rinse and repeat, but I’m afraid with C-squared, cancer and covid, it will be just that.

We are actually doing fine. Steph had scans in early January, and if you follow her facebook blog @livethevoyage, were about as good of news as we could have hoped. Things were responding to treatment, which is amazing at this point! Outside of the days immediately following chemo, she feels pretty good. There are at least 2 good weeks out of the 3 week chemo cycle so we are pleased at this point.

Speaking of winter, it snowed last night. Finally…it hadn’t snowed since mid December, so there is excitement in our house. Good friends Noah Perlut and Stacey Neumann are letting us stay at their ski condo for a couple nights this week, so we are headed to our first ski day in almost three years. The kids are over the moon excited, and so are we frankly. Anything to break the rinse and repeat cycle. And skiing of all things.

Callum skiing back in 2017 – hope he still has it!

I’ve been updating this website, and now I have the e-commerce site working so you can buy our t-shirts directly on this site. I have to thank Tim and Chris Riley for volunteering their time to take orders and ship out shirts through their Fabric store, Fabric Warehouse. It was amazing to see all the support.

That’s about it for now. I will try to post at least weekly with what is going on, and I’ll let you know how our ski days went this weekend. Keep living and live your voyage!
